Relationships between dogs and people are more than feeding, training, play, and exercise. This relationship is a spiritual one. It’s a spiritual relationship because there’s a lot of trust, devotion, and love involved. From love comes empathy, compassion, and wisdom, which are critical to effective leadership.
Dog shows can teach a lot about courage, leadership, resilience, diversity, and spiritual connection. We just have to open our hearts, confront challenges with an accepting mind, and be willing to learn new things. There’s no limit what unconditional love flowing from our dogs can teach us about life, leadership, and spirituality.

Sheri, along with her husband, is a breeder of highly pedigreed Samoyeds in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Living a Samoyed Life, Sheri finds this ancient breed that has spent thousands of years living and working closely with their people teaches valuable lessons about deep, caring, and loyal bonds that make strong and effective teams. Just as Samoyeds did thousands of years ago on the steppes of Siberia, they journey with us today, bringing joy and happiness.
