You are hard-wired to connect. Your ability to connect to others, and yourself, is critical to your success.
There are a lot of NOs and perceived failures at both dog shows and in the sales profession requiring you to accept inevitable rejection along the way. Fail fast approaches and quick recovery plans are a must to survive and thrive in these competitive environments.

Leaders are hard wired to connect. Studies from Harvard, Stanford, and MIT found when leaders and teams connect, workplaces become psychologically safe with increased emotional intelligence resulting in strong team effectiveness and higher retention.
Strong connections enhance trust and understanding, break down silos, and improves performance.
Relationships between dogs and people are more than feeding, training, play, and exercise. This relationship is a spiritual one. It’s a spiritual relationship because there’s a lot of trust, devotion, and love involved. From love comes empathy, compassion, and wisdom, which are critical to effective leadership.
Dog shows can teach a lot about courage, leadership, resilience, diversity, and spiritual connection. We just have to open our hearts, confront challenges with an accepting mind, and be willing to learn new things. There’s no limit what unconditional love flowing from our dogs can teach us about life, leadership, and spirituality.
The best leadership starts with love in your heart for yourself and for others and who better to teach us about unconditional love than the wonderful affection, loyalty, and devotion we receive from our incredible spirit animals, our dogs.
Sheri, along with her husband, is a breeder of highly pedigreed Samoyeds in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Living a Samoyed Life, Sheri finds this ancient breed that has spent thousands of years living and working closely with their people teaches valuable lessons about deep, caring, and loyal bonds that make strong and effective teams. Just as Samoyeds did thousands of years ago on the steppes of Siberia, they journey with us today, bringing joy and happiness.
